CreativeLive

Broadcasting live online classes to a global audience. Over two billion minutes of courses have been watched by over 10 million students with live broadcasts ranged from 2,000 to 60,000 people.

As a producer, I worked at the center of CreativeLive's production pipeline responsible for the execution of more than 50-hours of LIVE content a month. As a channel head, I developed the content strategy for the personal development, business & entrepreneurship verticals, built relationships with high-profile instructors. Negotiated contracts and instructor compensation and negotiated partnership deals with brands with Digital Marketer, Emily Post Institute, Alo Moves Yoga, Chronicle Books, NaNoWriMo, and Penguin Random House.

As a Content Producer…

I worked at the center of CreativeLive's production pipeline responsible for the execution of more than 50-hours of LIVE educational content a month. Check put this montage of some of my favorite courses, that have generated millions of dollars of revenue.

As a Channel Head ….

I built the strategy for the Money and Life channel, which focused on personal development, business, entrepreneurship and creativity. Photography classes were always CreativeLive’s bread and butter, and my goal was to create the next big area of revenue growth. After extensive market and user research, writing emerged with the most potential. I recruited talent like Joyce Maynard, a writer and journalist who ended up leading one of the highest grossing classes in CreativeLive history.

More Writing Classes…

We leaned into more writing classes, balancing the craft of writing and the business of book publishing — all rivalling the success of photography at CreativeLive, making the writing catalog some of the most popular and revenue generating classes on the platform. Jennie Nash’s class has been taken by over 20,000 students with 100% recommending it!

CreativeLive for Teams

When CreativeLive raised $25 million to build a B2B business, I led the channel strategy staying true to company DNA and was distinct from any other enterprise facing online education platforms.

We created courses to honor the modern employee who wants to work for organizations that provide both personal and professional development, that were infused with emotional intelligence and tactile approaches to develop people into more creative, communicative, and resilient humans.

Personal Finances…

In my research talking with leaders in the start-up and media, personal finances emerged as the space that greatly impacted the modern employee. I recruited Tonya Rapley, names “New Face of Wealth Building” by Black Enterprise magazine, to created a series of classes about improving money mindsets, which have been taken by 20,000 student with 100% recommending the classes.
